Atlas Birocratic is a collection of practical guides to Romanian administrative procedures: identity documents, taxes and self-employment, car registration, social benefits and real estate transactions.

Our goal is simple: one place where you can find the steps to follow, the required documents, the costs and the deadlines for each procedure — explained in plain language. The English edition is written especially for expats and foreign residents navigating Romanian bureaucracy.

How we work

• Every guide is researched against official sources (institution websites, current legislation).
• At the end of each guide you will find an "Official sources" section linking to the relevant institutions.
• The date of the last update is displayed prominently at the top of every guide.
